Vietnam is the world’s second largest coffee producer and the beverage is ubiquitous throughout the country in a dizzying array of styles from traditional Vietnamese coffee to more modern blends and variations.

Nowhere is the development of the nation’s coffee culture more evident than in Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon, as it is still known as by locals.

Spend even a little time in this thriving megacity and you could be mistaken for thinking that much of the frenetic activity taking place before your eyes is fueled by the peoples love of coffee in all of its many and varied forms.
